In Malaysia

Hi!. we're here in Mlaysia again for a visit. We arrived Saturday. I took a leave from my work but not with farming, hehe. I am planning to resume my work here. But no to more files. Only a few files daily I think. But that is, if my boss will allow this kind of arrangement.

I haven't done any shopping yet. I still got to see their sale promos. Still thinking what to buy for myself.

We are also scheduled to visit Thailand on the 25th. That is what I'm excited about and preparing too.

Gotta go. It's time to harvest.

ready to school

This is a picture of my little girl reading her favorite book in the nude.LOL! She always says she want to go to school.

She keep on saying she is a big girl now. She knows how to pull up her underwear whenever she goes out of the bathroom to pee.

I think she is ready for school. There are times when she gets her bag and goes out of the door and says, bye, I'm going to school now. It gives me so much joy.

Whenever we passsed by the kindergarten school going to the market especially recess time and there are children playing outside, she would say that's my classmates! LOL

So, we are planning to enroll her to a nursery school next school year. She will be three years old by then. So, I will let her enjoy school with other children so that she will have her own classmates.

baby blues

As usual, after being tired of small things to argue, we are okay now. This is our life.

Four days ago, my daughter had a fever. The next morning when she woke up fever was gone. Two days later, she had this rashes on her face and in the afternoon it was spreading on her chest already. So the next morning, I brought her to her pedia. While she was being examined, again she is so stubborn when the doctor asked her to open her mouth to check as well. There is this struggle ever since we visit her pedia.

It was found out to be tigdas hangin. And she was prescribed an ati-allergy for 3 days. By this time, the rash is not visible anymore. But I am planning to complete her medication. I also scheduled her to have her chickenpox vaccine to spare her from that before we left for our travel vacation this September. I just thought it would be necessary. Because I couldn't stand seeing her with fever or any dsicomfort as much as possible.

By tomorrow there'll be no worries.

Hi! it's been quite a while since my last post. I was not really that busy. It's just that I don't feel like posting. Nothing to post..hehe.

Anywayz, the day just passed just like any other day. I finished my work early since it's Friday and files are few. My daughter and I just hang around playing. We went to mother's store at 5pm to attend the anticipated mass at 530pm. We went home at 7pm.

We were buzzing hubby when we get home but it seems he was out. It's been 5 days and we haven't heard of each other. The usual misunderstanding..individual differences.hayyy. Im tired of being like this again and again. Part of adjustment period, I think.

So much of my ranting. I hope everything will be okay for us.

KL visit

I just booked a flight to Malaysia today for the travel period of September to November. I got to avail their Terminal 3 anniverary promo which is 50% off on all flights. Thanks to CEB we got the chance to visit Malaysia again.

Our original plan to visit is December this year to spend Christmas and New Year with hubby. But he called yesterday asking me to inquire for the promo. Since it is cheaper, we already grabbed the chance. Seems we will have two flights this year. We will be poorer by the end of this year. LOL!

Today is a fine day for me. I finished my work at 2pm with the interrupted internet connection from time to time and my daughter distracting me from time to time. Seems like my DSL connection is giving me headache. But I was able to finish the assigned files just in time. Baby seems to be adjusting already with the situation. Thank you, Dora and Barney, you are my hero!

I know that one day I'm gonna used to this kind of set up for us. This is our schedule every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday, I have someone to look after baby's needs. But she is also off to school at 1pm. That would be easy for me though.

Life is easier if you know how to manage your time. I just hope baby will remain cooperative in the days to come.

my job

Hi! I had the chance to post today since I finished my work a bit early. Yehey!

By the way, I'm a homebased medical transcriptionist and at the same time babysitting my 2 and 6 months old daughter. See, I can serve two masters at the same time (just for now until I finally have someone to look after my baby). Yes, I am looking for a nanny so I can have quality work.

Got to go now. My other job is calling me.

the impulse buyer

Hi! I just came from the mall today. My sister wants to shop for shoes and she tagged me along, hehe. I don't have anything in mind to buy at the mall. Just pure window shopping (literally). I had fixed it in my mind before leaving the house that I would not spend on anything not necessary. I hope I can keep my distance to my favorite stalls. Food, it's fine.

When I go to the children's section, I was tempted to buy a disney design tee for my daughter. I was already scanning the parice at the back and I immediately scolded myself,. Wag na! dami pa nga nyang damit na di nagagamit. And in 6 months' time, she will soon outgrow it. Sayang, especially if the item is a little bit expensive. And to think that she will not use it for long since toddler years grow fast. I ended up not buying. Whew! what a relief.

Now, as I reviewed today's journey. I felt satisfied. Not having regrets on anything I shouldn't done. Maybe, next week I will have to challenge myself if i really changed this habit.

Just wondering, I just want to cure my allergy disease...money allergy..wehehe..hapi wikend!

another Monday

Hi! This is another Monday since start of my project -- cost cutting. hehe. I was able to fight this urge to go shopping at the mall. And I have a very valid reason for today. Thanks God for the transportation strike. To many this is a loss because they would not be able to go to work. I pity them, the employees out there commuting everyday for their work. This will definitely be a minus to their monthly salary. Blame it on the jeepney drivers. What they are demanding is for the benefit of us all. They are demanding for a gasoline rollback. Kelan kaya tayo makakabangon sa kahirapan. Seems like we will never had the chance . That is why i am doing my own way of cost cutting..dahil na rin sa tumitinding krisis..not only in our country but worldwide.

I want to do this first for my myself and also for my family.. I had been doing this since, my hobby of sort. I just wanted to save for the future, for my daughter's future. I just feel that now is the time to start this. Enough of those unnecessary things. I want to be more practical now. I'm still on the learning process of budgeting.

Cost cutting

I am used to the routine of hanging around a mall every Monday. Whether I had an errand to do or no partucular things to buy I go out on this day. Since it is my off from work and being a work-at-home-mom, parang feeling ko I need to unwind. Imagine, the whole week I'm just in the house working and babysitting at the same time!

But today, I want to start my project -- cost cutting!..That is if I can really put my heart into this. I must be very disciplined with my spending. I already have a notebook which I keep as a journal of our daily expenses.

For a start, going to the mall is the number one that should be stopped. At least once or twice a week na lang and not every Monday. Because I am an impulse buyer and whenever I am at a store and something caught my attention and feeling ko bagay sa akin or sa anak ko, go!, bibilhin ko yan kahit di ko kailangan. And after that when I get home I regret that and at times di ko naman nagagamit. Ang sama ko noh?

Today, I am very happy because di ako lumabas..hehe. Timing din kasi my little girl's nanny was not availble. She has to attend a PTA meeting wih her daughter also. So, lucky me. Thanks talaga! How about on Monday, sana may reason ulit.

Well, let's see come Monday.
